This bench is made from 1x2 steel rectangular tube. The seating area is 48in wide and the slats are 19mm Baltic birch plywood finished in a satin polyurethane. The slats are screwed directly into threaded holes in the steel frame. The bench finish is a gloss black enamel. The side profile splays slightly outward to allow for the most available armrest, while still retaining a sturdy footprint.
